Hire Heroes USA empowers US military members, veterans and their spouses to succeed in the civilian workforce.

The Need

Each year over 270K service men and women leave the military; 80% of those individuals will not have a civilian job lined up following their transition out of the military

Every week, Hire Heroes USA has an average of 811 US military members, veterans, and military spouses register for our services and we onboard over 400 new clients each week, leaving nearly 300 clients waiting to access services weekly.

Hire Heroes USA addresses “Employment Skills,” the #1 request from transitioning veterans, through a customized 1:1 approach with expert transition specialists with personal connections to the military and business communities. This individualized approach led to a 67% retention rate for our hired clients at the 12-month mark, compared to the average 50% rate for veterans in their first jobs.

Hire Heroes USA understands that the military identity is intersectional, and in order to better serve our candidates we created programs unique to their backgrounds and challenges. Such programs include our Junior Enlisted Program, Serving Spouse Program, among many more.
