Connecticut Women's Business Development Council

The Connecticut Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) is at the heart of Connecticut’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and is the only statewide organization focused on women entrepreneurs. Since its founding in 1997,  it has served more than 15,000 clients and assisted in the creation or expansion of more than 6,000 businesses. WBDC's clients represent a variety of racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds starting home-based businesses to main street boutiques and multi-million dollar enterprises. WBDC drives business success in a tangible and accessible way, providing the training and education necessary for women to launch and scale their businesses. WBDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing the tools and resources to help women thrive in business.
